What is F-ZEB?

F-ZEB stands for “Forchile Zero Energy Building”. ZEB is said to become the world standard in the 2020s. Forchile has been a pioneer working on ZEB and is advancing its development.

Forchile’s ZEB is not only creating zero energy buildings but aims to create a town that enhances the life of its residents as well as harmony of the whole community. By doing so, we believe that we will be closer in realizing our vision of “creating a sustainable society.”

In addition to the use of solar power generation and storage batteries for utilizing renewable energy, we achieve greater energy savings through enhanced insulation using external thermal insulation construction and highly insulated window frames.
By achieving high levels of both energy savings and renewable energy, we aim towards achieving net-zero cost on annual primary energy consumption.

Safety and Assurance

Using safe, external thermal isolation construction to create towns where people can live safely for a long time.
Solar power generation and storage batteries are not only good for use as renewable energy but are useful during disasters. F-ZEB towns can also act as a base for evacuation during disasters.

Increasing insulation achieves comfortable temperatures all year round.
This also promotes healthy living by limiting exposure to excessive heating and cooling.

Employing external thermal isolation construction slows down “carbonation” resulting in longer life for the building.
This helps maintain higher asset value over a longer period of time.

We handle creation of not only buildings but towns. We plan for cafes and other shops to accommodate living and working.
We realize life that is abundant with nature, and a community where groups of people are always in touch with each other. A greenery-rich community will serve as a place for active exchanges with the surrounding residents, contributing to growth of children as well as the well being of the senior citizens. With multifaceted lifestyle that transcend generations and F-ZEB, we aim to creating a sustainable town.
